Hello to you in my website.. My name is Mezna Rashed Al Serkal, expected graduation from Higher colleges of Technology - Dubai Branch, (Bachelor Degree in Applied Media Communication). In this website, I will be sharing with you my work process in my short alternative video about Emirati women transformation from stayed at home to today’s female business, educational and political leaders. i am so keen to share with you the final result about my video "SOUGHA"
SOUGHA: Will provide an alternative commercial media short video, more to “artistic" perspective than a traditional mainstream video perspective. Instead of flashing back to the past, I will start from the past as base to flash-forward to the future. Visuals will be focused on 4 characters from the past; Mom, with her 3 daughters, who are in different ages 6,2 years, and 8 months baby. Each one of them will be representing future in it is different periods, Characterizing the transformation and developing roles took place by Emirati women in each period. The four characters will be wearing a different piece of jewelry hinting back to the video title “Sougha: means in Arabic, jewelry or presents brought from abroad as gifts to family, friends and beloved ones”. While regarding to the audio, it will be based on voice over and intimate conversation, songs and sound effects will take place in the video. Ending the video with recent Fact : National quote for by H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid about the Emirati women
